pci7205 Usage

The following section contains the list of commands in 

pci7205

 utility.

Display utility help

# pci7207 -h

Usage: pci7207 options

Options:

 -v            Display version

 -h            Display help

 -b            Backwards compatibility

 -s ID         PCIE-7205 card id 1-24

 -n CPU        CPU 1 - 4

 -c CMD        CMD to execute:

               u - power up CPU

               d - power down CPU

               p - power cycle CPU:

                                                                       

                           

If cpu and card id are not provided, it will  

                              

                   

power cycle all CPUs in all 7207s in the system. 

                If only the card id is provided, it will

 

                 power cycle all CPUs for the card indicated

               r - reset CPU

               t - temperature of CPU

                    

e - execute BIOS Crisis Recovery for the specified 

                  CPU

The following commands are independent of Card Id and CPU

               g - generate a dhcp.conf

               i - output ifconfig commands for each interface

               l - list installed PCIE-7207 cards

Display utility version

# pci7207 -v

pci7207 version 1.0.10

Backwards Compatibility Flag
If you are using one of the earlier PCIE-7205 cards with the initial version of the i350 
EEPROM, you need to add the backwards compatibility flag “

-b

” to all your commands for 

the pci7207

 

utility to properly interact with your PCIE-7205 card. For example to list the 

PCIE-7205 cards in the system:
