Factory
Reset
In
cases
where
the
Ecosys
board
may
have
lost
its
settings,
or
become
unresponsive,
you
may
also
follow
this
factory
reset
guide.
The
board
has
already
been
loaded
with
operational
firmware
and
can
be
reset
with
this
procedure.
Important:
it
is
critical
that
you
confirm
with
Thureon
which
model
of
Ecosys
controller
is
in
your
Armarac
as
not
all
versions
of
firmware
and/or
webpages
are
compatible
with
every
series
of
board.
These
instructions
assume
the
2140
‐
701
‐
D
Ecosys
controller
.
Part
One
–
Factory
Reset
1.
Remove
the
power
supply
from
the
Ecosys
board
(12V
DC
2.5mm
ID/5.5mm
OD
plug)
2.
Press
and
hold
the
LOAD
button
on
the
PCB
–
whilst
doing
so
reconnect
the
live
power
supply
3.
Continue
pressing
the
LOAD
button
until
the
unit
starts
beeping
–
then
release
the
LOAD
button
4.
Disconnect
the
power
supply
from
the
Ecosys.
The
internal
storage
for
webpages
and
log
files
is
now
cleared
and
ready
to
load
webpages.
5.
Re
‐
power
the
Ecosys
board.
Note
that
the
unit
could
start
beeping
at
this
stage
as
no
slave
boards
are
connected
and
the
incorrect
readings
could
trigger
an
alarm.
This
can
be
avoided
by
having
all
slave
board
connected
and
the
door
switches
being
closed.
6.
The
unit
has
now
been
reset.

Two
–
Loading
Webpages
7.
Connect
a
network
cable
(Cat
‐
5
or
above)
to
the
management
LAN
port
on
the
side
of
the
Ecosys
board.
8. Open a web-browser (Chrome, Firefox or Safari – not Internet Explorer) and type in
the IP Address of the EcoSys board. (Note if no DHCP server is present, the default
IP address is 192.168.1.50, if a DHCP server is present, either use the
TCP
Discover
software tool supplied from Thureon, or check the DHCP server status for
the IP address that has been assigned.
9. If connecting for the first time, a username/password will be required.
