33 Sleeve Bearing – Replacement
This section describes how to replace the sleeve bearing.
Reference is made throughout this section to (“Height Actuator - Replacement” on page 51), to
disassemble the radius arm from the height actuator.
33.1 Removal
33.1.1 Remove radius arm starlocks (Fig 4, Item 9) and slide clevis pins out (Fig 4, Item 8).
33.1.2 Remove inner tubing (Fig 4, Item 41).
33.1.3 Take radius arm assembly (Fig 4, Item 2) or (Fig 4, Item 3) and remove old bearings 833.084.
33.1.4 Install new bearings 833.084 pushing them as far as possible inside the radius arm.
33.1.5 To replace end caps (Fig 4, Item 20) remove the old ones, insert new parts by slightly
hammering them down and drill the caps through using 7mm diameter drill.
33.2 Installation
33.2.1 Assemble all components back together by reversing this procedure.
