9.2.4 Exchange of a TMSO.IM
I.
To replace a TMSO.IM, follow the same steps as for replacing the TMSO.CU, up to
step
II.
Now you can remove the concerned TMSO.IM from the tree and replace it with another
one. Use the same positions and screw holes to minimize damage to the tree and to
ensure data consistency with previous measurements!
III.
In the TMSO.App you have to adjust the serial number(s) of the replaced devices in
the project window, so that the control unit recognizes the new sensors and the
measurement data can be assigned correctly later. You do not have to delete the old
sensors from the project and create new ones! Simply change the serial number to the
new TMSO.IM in the data window of the respective sensor!
IV.
Now you only need to follow the same steps as for the initial start-up of the system:
9.2.5 Changing the Position of a Device
If, for example, you discover that the radio connection of one of the devices is too poor at the
current position, it may be necessary to change the position again.
To do this, follow the same steps as for replacing a device (TMSO.IM or TMSO.CU).
However, after changing the position and BEFORE switching on and reactivating the system
again, you have to update the corresponding device information in the TMSO.App in the project
or in the configuration of the central unit!
If the device is on the same tree as before, you only need to adjust the mounting height and
orientation.
If you have moved a TMSO.IM to another tree, you must delete this sensor from the previous
tree and recreate it on the new tree and enter its data. (see
