sensor you have attached to the tree in the
fields provided.
a. The sensor number is engraved on the
front of the sensor:
NOTE!
You do not need to
enter the entire

the first digit other
than 0. The rest is
automatically added in
the
Device ID

b. It is up to you which reference point on the
unit you choose to specify the mounting
height (e.g. the mounting hole).
CAUTION!
We recommend always using the same
reference point for each sensor and each
project to ensure later comparability of your
measurement data!
c. Select the sensor type according to the
planned function of the appliance (base
sensor on the root plate, control sensor at
2-3 m height on the trunk).
d. Select the orientation of the sensor: Stand
in front of the sensor attached to the tree,
facing the front of the tree. Which direction
are you looking then?
If your mobile phone has a built-in
compass, you can determine the
orientation of the sensor by clicking on the
AUTO
button. Follow the instructions in the
window that opens.
NOTE!
The compass must be calibrated!
