7.6.2 (optional) WLAN Configuration
If you want to use a local WLAN to connect to the Internet and the cloud, you must configure
it now.
CAUTION!
The password is required for access to a secured WLAN!
In addition, the TMSO.CU cannot connect to an IEEE 802.1x / EAP / RADIUS server, i.e. a
WLAN, whose authentication is done via individual user name/password combinations!
To configure the WLAN access, proceed as
follows:
I.
Click
WLAN
in the main menu of the app.
II.
The current settings are retrieved from the
TMSO.CU and displayed in brackets
under the items
SID
and

III.
You can change the entries manually
using the two corresponding input fields.
IV.
Alternatively,
you
can
use
the
NETWORKS
button to let the TMSO.CU
search for visible WLAN networks. By
clicking on one of the listed networks, its
SID is automatically transferred to the
SID
input field.
V.
Don't forget to activate the
Use for Internet
Connection
switch!
VI.
