10 Deactivation and Dismantling
This chapter describes the procedure at the end of a project.
10.1 Waking up the Devices
In order for the PTMSO as an entire system to be correctly deactivated and switched off, all
devices must first be woken up.
For the TMSO.IM touch the device with the magnetic pen at the recess in the housing. Hold
the magnetic pen there until the status LED lights up (approx. 1 second) and then remove it
again.
The status LED will light up permanently. The device is still in the same operating state, but
now has its TMSO Radio activated and is ready for communication with the TMSO.CU.
CAUTION!
The TMSO.IM will automatically switch off their TMSO Radio after 15 minutes if they do not
receive any messages from the TMSO.CU!
For the TMSO.CU open the housing cover and touch the
SWITCH
mark on the front panel with
the magnetic pen.
Hold the magnetic pen there until the
CON-LED
lights up (approx. 1 second) and then remove
it again.
As soon as the LED starts flashing, the BLE is active and ready to connect to your mobile
phone. The operating status of the device is not affected by this.
CAUTION!
The TMSO. CU will automatically switch off the BLE after 5 minutes if it does not receive any
messages from the user's mobile phone!
10.2 Deactivation of the System
Start the TMSO.App on your mobile phone and wait for the connection to the TMSO.CU. Then
click on
Central Unit
to open the management window of the central unit and go to the
MGT
7.6.1Establish connection to the TMSO.CU
The app automatically queries the current operating status of the system. Since the system is
active, only the
DISABLE
button is enabled. Clicking it starts the deactivation process.
This process is fully automatic, similar to the system test during activation, and is indicated by
a permanently lit
MEAS LED.
During this process, the deactivation command is sent to all TMSO.IMs registered in the
system so that they immediately enter standby mode, indicated by a status LED flashing
regularly every second. In addition, the TMSO.CU will connect to the cloud one last time and
add the deactivation timestamp and total run time of this project in the configuration file (OC-
XXXX.cfg). This process can take up to 3 minutes, depending on the quality of the radio
connection.
The central unit then also switches to standby mode.
Accordingly, the other 3 buttons in the
MGT
tab are now activated in the app.
