4 Preparation for First Use
This chapter describes the preparatory steps that must be carried out before the PTMSO is
put into operation for the first time. Most of them usually only need to be executed once for
each system.
Take half an hour to complete these steps calmly.
4.1 Set Up Cloud Access
4.1.1 Create Dropbox Account
If you already have a Dropbox account you can skip this step.
To create an account with Dropbox, you need Internet access, an e-mail address and any
Internet browser.

Open the Internet browser.

Click the
Create Account
button.
IV.
Enter your name and e-mail address. The email address is also the username for your
Dropbox account.

Enter an individual password.
VI.
Check the box to agree to the Dropbox terms and conditions.

Click the
Create an account
button.
4.1.2 Install Dropbox on the PC
If you already have Dropbox installed on your PC and linked it to your account, you can skip
this step.
I.
After creating your account you should be
in the private area of your Dropbox Cloud.
Otherwise, open your Internet browser, go
to the Dropbox website:
and log in with your login information.

Click on the button with the 3 dots at the
bottom right of the window (directly left of
Privacy
)
In the menu list that opens, click
Install
.
