Generator Commands

Generator commands serve for generating load point on the output terminals of PTE.

GEN:STOP

{ [method(0|1|2)] }

Generation stop. Optional parameter

method

specifies transition method: 0 (=default), 1 (=immediate)

or 2(=soft generate). Default transition method (parameter not used or used with value 0) is defined in
menu - Soft Generate ON or OFF.

GEN:STAR?

Request  for  the  actual  state  of  the  generation.  Answer  is  0=off  (generation  not  in  progress),
1=transition  (transition  rise  or  fall  in  progress)  or  2=on  (stable  generation  in  progress).  While  1  is
being returned, device is not able to react to new generation commands.
