GEN:STAR?
{ [chnl(1-6)] }
Request for the actual state of generation in given channel. Answers are same as for GEN:STAR?,
but 0 for current channels means that there is no current but the device can be still in transition mode.
No current in particular channel will be marked as inactive channel.
GEN:STAR
{ [method(0|1|2)] }
Generation start. Optional parameter
method
specifies transition method: 0 (=default), 1 (=immediate)
or 2(=soft generate). Default transition method (parameter not used or used with value 0) is defined in
menu - Soft Generate ON or OFF.
GEN:STAR:BC?
Request for the actual state of the Back Control feature. Answer is:
0 = off (back control not in progress or disabled)
1 = will occur after transition (transition rise or fall in progress)
2 = in progress (back control process in progress)
3 = finished (back control is successfully finished)
-1 = finished with error (back control is finished but error occurred)
GEN:FREQ?
Request for the generated signals basic frequency.
GEN:FREQ
{ freq(40-70) }
Generated signals basic frequency setting (40 - 70 Hz).
GEN:EFF?
{ [chnl(1-6)] }
Request for the effective value of signal amplitude in given channel (or all channels if parameter
omitted). Answer is 1 number or 6 comma separated numbers with the meaning of effective value of
signal amplitude.
GEN:EFF
{ chnl(1-6), eff_value }
Setting of effective value of signal amplitude in given channel.
GEN:PHAS?
{ [chnl(1-6)] }
Request for the phase shift of the signal in given channel (or all channels if parameter omitted).
Answer is 1 number or 6 comma separated numbers with the meaning of phase shift of signal.
GEN:PHAS
{ chnl(1-6) , phase }
Setting of phase shift of the signal in given channel.
GEN:SHAP?
Request for the used signal shape type. Answer is 0 (=SINE), 1 (=BURST_FIRE) or
2 (=PHASE_FIRED).
GEN:SHAP
{ type(0|1|2) }
Setting of signal shape type. Parameter
type
can be 0 (=SINE), 1 (=BURST_FIRE) or
2 (=PHASE_FIRED)
GEN:SHAP:LIST?
Request for the list of signal shapes. Answer would be the names of all signal shapes separated by
comma.
