2.2. DECLARATION OF CONFORMITY
As manufacturer, Logo Silver declares under its own responsibility that OUTCHAIR
complies with the essential requirements 93/42 and 2007/47 according with European directives
medical devices.
The design, development and manufacturing of OUTCHAIR are fully safety compliant according
to the following technical requirements:
• Risk analysis and management following NF EN ISO 14971 standards
• NF EN 12182 and NF EN 12184 design requirements
Dynamic stability, static stability, durability testing, load-bearing (static), advertising
documentation, use and maintenance guide, labelling, defining of energy consumption, defining
of speed, of acceleration and acceleration, ability to climb the maximum slope safely, the ability
to surmount obstacles.
Compliance with standard NF EN 12184 means ( among other things) that the values required
for inclination, obstacle clearance and speed are reached or exceeded by the OUTCHAIR.
2.3. GENERAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
• The OUTCHAIR may only be used in accordance with the instructions.
• Only duly informed and authorised people may use the OUTCHAIR.
• Only one person may use the OUTCHAIR at a time.
• For safety reasons it is recommended to wear a helmet and to attach the seatbelt.
• Do not use the wheelchair under the influence of alcohol, medication or stupefying
products which restrict your driving ability.
• Do not lean forward, over the sides or over the upper edge of the chair, especially if
the terrain is sloped.
• To transfer, get as close to the new seat as possible.
DANGER !
Use the seat belt, if you do not have sufficient back-support, or you
are on rough terrain.
NOTE
All safety instructions contained in this user manual and in all valid
associated documents must be observed and applied.
This manual must always be available to the user.
