6.2. INITIAL CHARGING AND SETUP
Before use, recharge the batteries with the charger supplied.
Plug the power cable into the front of the joystick for at least 5 hours. The batteries are
sufficiently charged when the LEDs are green. See details in chapter 7.10 Battery and charging.
VII. USAGE
The OUTCHAIR is equipped with a joystick controller.
The “PROFILE” button is used to choose between the 3 different driving profiles, which are :
• “Exterior” profile: 4 wheel drive propulsion of the wheelchair, suitable for most
terrains with the possibility of maximum speed.
• “Flexible exterior” profile: 4 wheel drive propulsion of the wheelchair, suitable for road
type terrain, slightly steep paths, urban environments for more maneuverability when
turning. The recommendations for use are identical to the “exterior” profile.
• “Crossing” profile: 4-wheel drive propulsion, suitable for crossing obstacles (a step, a
footpath...) with an instantly increased torque and a maximum speed of 5 km / h.
It is advisable to use the steering lock in “Crossing” mode.
The joystick can also control special functions via the “MODE” button. (seat tilt, electric leg
rests, electric backrest tilt, control environment...).
7.1. “OUTDOOR” DRIVING PROFILE

Please remember recommendations in Safety (part 2).
The authorized maximum speed is 10 km / h.
WARNING !
On flat or hilly terrain, the seat should be positioned as parallel to
the ground as possible and the backrest as perpendicular as possible.
When descending, the seat should be tilted backwards by 10° (from
horizontal) and the backrest 20° to the rear (from vertical).
WARNING !
It is imperative to use the safety belt.
