4 — Operating Instructions

Operator Manual

AMSCO

Rack Return

11830378_C

NOTE: If optional status indicator lighting is present: light is green on both sides once both doors are

closed.

3. If not using a transfer cart, proceed as follows:

a. Press Command button to open door.

b. Remove rack from chamber.

c. Press Command button to close door.

NOTE: If optional status indicator lighting is present: light is green on both sides once both doors are

closed.

With SCS Conveyor System

1. If SCS Conveyor System is automated, rack will be automatically unloaded from chamber onto feed-out

conveyor. Proceed to

Step 5

If SCS Conveyor System is not automated, proceed to

Step 2

2. If unload door is closed, press Command button to open door.
3. Pull rack from chamber onto feed-out conveyor.
4. Press Command button to close door.
5. Refer to SCS Conveyor System

Operator Manual

to unload rack from feed-out conveyor.

NOTE:

It is still possible to stop door from closing by pressing Command button.

IMPORTANT:

If SCS Conveyor System is installed in front of rack return, do not try to transfer instruments from one side to the

other.
