Chamber

The high-quality stainless-steel chamber is used to pass washer accessories and manifold racks from clean to soiled

side.

Doors

The AMSCO® Rack Return is equipped with two vertical sliding doors; one on each side. Doors are automatically

operated by pneumatic cylinders. Doors are constructed of polycarbonate to allow the operator to see inside the

chamber.
Safety locks, located at the top of each door can be used to keep the door in open position for cleaning or maintenance

purposes.

Hands-Free Sensors
For rack return without automation:

The rack return is equipped with sensors, located over each door, for a hands-free

opening of the vertical sliding doors. They allow operators to load the rack return without physical contact, by pushing

the transfer cart against the equipment.

If SCS Conveyor System is present

, hands-free sensors are deactivated on the

sides where conveyors are connected.

For rack return used with ATLAS WAV System:

The rack return is equipped with a sensor located under clean side door

allowing for automatic opening and closing the vertical sliding door by the ATLAS Workflow Automation Vehicle.
