Operator Manual

Rack Return

Adapters for ATLAS WAV System (Accessory)

These adapters are used with the ATLAS WAV System clean side. They consist of an inodized plate equipped with a

reflector and two white guides to support ATLAS Workflow Automation Vehicle during its docking sequence, as well as

a vertical rod to maintain the vehicle’s head aligned with sliders during rack transfer.

Adapters for Auto-Docking Transfer Carts (Accessory)

These adapters are used with the Auto-Docking and Locking style Transfer Carts (FD199 and FD179). They consist of

one adapter for each side of the rack return that act as lateral docking device between the rack return and the transfer

cart.

Status Indicator Lighting (Accessory)

The rack return can be equipped with status indicator lighting that help visualize chamber status from load or unload

side of the rack return:

• Green lights: Chamber is available for use.
• White light: Chamber is ready to be unloaded.
• Red light: An alarm was triggered.
• Light off: Chamber is not available for use.

Audio Communication System (Accessory)

The rack return can be equipped with an audio communication system that allows operators to communicate from one

side of the department to the other.

3.3 Control System

IMPORTANT:

Become familiar with all control locations and functions before operating the equipment.

The rack return is equipped with a control system that monitors and controls the equipment operations and functions.
