4.3 Display Panel LEDs
+5V When illuminated, indicates the presence of the 5 volt supply rail
to the circuit boards.
Alarm When illuminated, indicates a high Opacity/Dust alarm condition.
System OK When illuminated, indicates no detected fault conditions and
instrument is in normal operating mode ( not in calibration or
alignment mode).
4.3.1 Relays
Two sets of relay contacts are available terminating at the transmissometer signal
socket. These provide for the Alarm and System OK facilities.
See the Installation - Electrical section for connection detail (section 6.0).
4.3.2 Output
Current loop
• The single current loop output is configurable for a lower current of 0, 2 or 4
mA.
• The upper value will always be 20mA.
• When configured for Opacity , the current loop output range is configurable
in 5% steps between 10 to 100%.
• When configured for Dust , the current loop output range is configurable in
10mg/m
3
steps between 10 to 1000mg/m
3
.
Note
Due to limitations on the display, 1000mg/m
3
is displayed as 999mg/m
3

The RS232 socket is for Land Instruments International Service use only.
