Model 4200 Dust & Opacity Monitor
4.2 Keypad Functions
The keypad located on the transmissometer display panel has four keys:

Description of operation and display
Mode
When progressively pressed steps through:
•
Normal Opacity/Dust display
•
Calibration check
•
Dust gain (if Dust selected)
•
Set alarm
•
Set output range. The current loop output will output opacity
with the output range configurable between 10 - 100% (in 5%
steps) or dust in the range between 10 and 1000mg/m
3
(in steps
of 10mg/m
3
).
•
Time Constant sets the signal damping between a range of 0-999.
•
Set output low level (0, 2 or 4mA)
•
Set alignment mode.
Note
Holding the key down for 10 seconds will also enter calibration mode.
F1 Save key. Main function to retain in memory any parameter changes.
F2 Often referred to as the 'UP' key changes the value of parameters chosen
by the Mode key. Acts as a toggle in the case of Opacity/Dust selection.
F3 Often referred to as the 'DOWN' key changes the value of parameters
chosen by the Mode key. Acts as a toggle in the case of Opacity/Dust
selection.
