Section 2 Security

AMIBIOS Password Support

WINBIOS Setup has a two-level password feature. A Supervisor password and
a User password can be configured. Both the Supervisor and User password or
either password can be configured.

Supervisor Password The Supervisor password takes precedence over the User password.

WINBIOS setup can be configured so that certain Setup screens or options only
appear when the Supervisor password has been properly entered.

User Password The computer can be configured so that all users must enter a password every

time the system boots or when WINBIOS Setup is executed.
