POST Memory Test
Normally, the only visible POST routine is the memory test. The
screen that appears when the system is powered on is shown below.

A BIOS Identification String is displayed at the left bottom corner of
the screen. Press <Ins> during system boot to display two additional
BIOS Identification Strings. These strings contain the options installed
in the AMI BIOS. If a problem occurs, copy these numbers on a sheet
of paper before consulting the AMI Technical Support Department at
404-263-8181. When a problem occurs, freeze the screen by
powering on the system and holding a key down on the keyboard to
cause a Keyboard Error message. Copy the three Identification Strings
and report this information to AMI. Press <F1> to continue the boot
process. Enable Wait for <F1> If any Error in Advanced CMOS Setup
before using this method to freeze the screen. The following
message is displayed after POST completes:
Hit <DEL> if you want to run SETUP
Press <Del> to access AMI Hi-Flex BIOS Setup.
