Explanation
OFF BOARD PARITY ERROR ADDR (HEX) = (XXXX)
where XXXX is the hex address where the error
occurred. Offboard means that it is part of the
memory installed via an adapter card. Run AMI Diag
to find and correct memory problems.
On Board Parity Error There is a parity error in motherboard memory. The
message format is:
ON BOARD PARITY ERROR ADDR (HEX) = (XXXX)
where XXXX is the hex address where the error
occurred. Onboard means that it is part of
motherboard memory. Run AMI Diag to find and
correct memory problems.
Parity Error ???? There is a parity error in system memory but the
address of the error cannot be determined. Run
memory diagnostic software, such as AMI Diag, to
find and correct memory problems.
