Chapter 2 - Installation

Step 10 Install Adapter Cards

The AMI 80486 Baby Voyager motherboard provides full compatibility

with all IBM XT or AT-compatible adapter cards. It has eight 16-bit

slots. The slots are numbered on the motherboard from SLOT1

through SLOT8. The slots can accept either 8- or 16-bit ISA (XT or AT-

compatible) adapter cards.

The AMI Baby Voyager uses standard adapter cards. The cards can be

any IBM-compatible 8-bit or 16-bit adapter card. These cards plug into

the expansion slots on the motherboard.
