OPERATION

3.6.2

Low Battery LED

PURPOSE: Describes how the Low Battery LED warns of
a discharged battery.

When the 75% (Low Battery) LED is ON,
the battery is discharged.

If the UPS is in On Battery mode, it will
shut down in a few minutes, depending
on the size of the load.

For more information on these states, see Section 3.7.

On Line Mode:

When flashing, it operates normally. This
should not last more than an hour. If it
does, perform troubleshooting (Section
3.5) to see if the UPS has a problem.

Almost Discharged Battery:

On Battery Mode:

When flashing, the battery is almost
discharged with only a small amount of
backup power left. Shut down the loads
before the battery is discharged.
