1. INTRODUCTION

1.4 P1250 Terminal Block

Purpose: Describes the P1250 terminal block
(Figures 1.3, 1.4).

External Alarm Terminal Block

An external alarm panel can be connected to this terminal block to display a low
battery warning. The operator supplies the panel. The operating diagram is
shown in Figure 1.4.

Surge Suppressor

An Alpha LAP Plus transient voltage surge suppressor is factory installed for
protection against surges caused by lightning strikes. A second suppressor can
be attached to the load side as an ordered option.

Input Terminal Block

This terminal block connects the P1250 to line power.

Line Power Circuit Breaker

This circuit breaker connects or disconnects the P1250 from line power. It must
be ON for normal operation.

Output Terminal Block

This terminal block connects the loads to the P1250's output.

Output Power Circuit Breaker

This circuit breaker connects or disconnects the loads from the P1250's power.
It must be ON for normal operation.
