SECTION 13.0 HOLE-HOG STORAGE

13.1 Short Term Field Storage

Clean exterior.

Clean out whip hose connection to the
valve stem.

Lubricate interior of unit.

Wipe surface of unit with an oily rag to
leave a thin coating of oil over the
whole unit.

Position or tie whip hose in a manner
to prevent it from being crushed.

Secure unit in a dry storage area or
cover with a waterproof tarp.

13.2 Long Term Storage

Refer to Section 8.0 and disassemble
the body/anvil from the end cap. Re-
move the striker.

Clean and inspect these components
for damage and excessive wear.

Schedule replacement and repairs so
unit will be ready to use after storage

Thoroughly clean all disassembled
parts.

Lubricate all parts and reassemble.

Store in a protected, dry area.

Avoid wet or damp conditions to mini-
mize rust.
