If you select a port, the Configuration of Port page is displayed, as
shown in Figure 59.

Configuration of a Port
This page displays the port’s configuration and operating status.
Set the port parameters as desired and click the Apply button. The
parameters are described below.
Port Type
The port type. Ports 1-24 are 10/100Base-TX and can operate at
10/100 Mbps. Ports 25-26 are 1000Base-TX and can operate at
10/100/1000 Mbps.
Operation Status
The status of the link between the port and the end node
connected to the port. Possible values are:
Up - indicates that a valid link exists between the port and the end
node.
Down - indicates that the port and the end node have not
established a valid link.
Admin. Status
The current operating status of the port.
You might want to disable a port and prevent packets from being
forwarded if a problem occurs with the node or cable connected
to the port. Once the problem has been fixed, you can enable the
