Configuring an IP Address
Note
For guidelines on when to assign an IP address, subnet address, and
gateway address to an AT-8326GB switch, refer to
When Does an
AT-8326GB Switch Need an IP Address?
on page 33.
The procedure in this section explains how to manually assign an IP
address, subnet mask, and gateway address to the switch, as well as how
to enable DHCP. If you want the switch to obtain its IP configuration
from a DHCP server on your network, go to the procedure
Activating
DHCP
on page 163.
To manually change a switch’s IP configuration, perform the following
procedure:
1. Click on the Basic Config menu tab and select IP Config from the sub-
menu.
The IP Configuration page is displayed, as shown in Figure 46.

2. Change the IP configuration parameters by entering the new
information in the data entry fields and clicking the Apply button.
The parameters on the IP Configuration page are described
below:
System MAC Address
This parameter specifies the MAC address of the switch. This
parameter cannot be changed.
