AT-S41 User’s Guide

System Name

This parameter specifies a name for the switch (for example, 
Sales). This parameter is optional and may contain up to 50 
characters. 

Note

It is advised that you assign each switch a name. The names can help 
you identify the various switches when you manage them and can 
help you avoid performing configuration procedures on the wrong 
switch.

System Location

This parameter specifies the location of the switch. This parameter 
is optional and may contain up to 50 characters.

System Contact

This parameter allows you to specify the name of the network 
administrator responsible for managing the switch. This 
parameter is optional and may contain up to 50 characters.
