Distributed Powered
Some UXCM’s have terminal strips located on the rear of them to provide distributed 24VDC power to
the UXSM’s. This feature is commonly used when two or more UXSM’s are required with one UXCM.
There is a 2 conductor 16ga zip cord included in the install kit. This cable can be routed as a daisy
chained through each UXSM (Method 1) or a star connection from each UXSM back to the UXCM
(Method 2).
Note
: A maximum of eight UXSM’s can be connected to this distributed 24VDC power.
