Commissioning

Airedale do not offer any commissioning services for the Artus. Mechanical commissioning,

including water side balancing, must be completed by others before Airedale or other third party

Siemens Solution Partners configure the Artus(s) for master/slave operation, room operator units,

BMS integration and so forth.

CAUTION

Step 1

Remove insulation



around the

Pressure Independent Control Valve



to access binder points



and

valve preset dial



Step 2

Using the binder points



, measure the

differential pressure across the valve



If the measured differential pressure is

higher than the start-up pressure (>35kPa),

the valve is keeping the flow stable at the

preset value.

Step 3

Ensure velcro lined insulation



is reattached to the unit after

measurements have been taken.

Electrical power is needed at the unit to drive the valve gear during waterside commissioning.

and commissioning can take place.
