Introduction

Airflow

Fan & Motor Assembly

The fan is encased in a bespoke plastic shroud which has an aerodynamic profile increasing the efficiency of the fan

assembly inside the unit. The plastic shroud is made from 30% glass filled nylon minimising the weight of the hinged

door assembly. The front face fan assembly can be hinged down away from the ceiling for maintenance access to

internal components.

Nominal Airflow

The nominal airflow of the unit is 0.14m³/s (140l/s). This has a very low specific fan power of 0.10W/l/s ensuring the unit

operates at maximum efficiency.

Filtration

Synthetic nylon monofilament filter media encased in a UL94 V0 rated

acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS). Filter media

open area is 43% and aperture size is 195µm. The filter frame features snap barb edges which simplify filter removal

and replacement. The media is reusable and may be washed or vacuum cleaned.
