DATA:NVOLatile:FREE?
Query the number of non-volatile
memory slots
available to store
user-defined waveforms. Non-volatile waveform memory is divided into
four 16k-point slots. This command returns the number of memory slots
available to store user-defined waveforms: “0” (memory is full), “1”, “2”,
“3”, or “4”.
FORMat:BORDer {NORMal|SWAPped}
Used only for binary block transfers
. Select the byte order for binary
transfers in the block mode using the
DATA:DAC
command.
The default
is NORM.
In
NORM
byte order (default), the most-significant byte (
MSB
) of
each data point is sent first.
In
SWAP
byte order, the least-significant byte (
LSB
) of each data
point is sent first. Most PCs use the “swapped” byte order.
The function generator represents binary data as 12-bit integers,
which are sent as two bytes. Each data point in the waveform
requires 12 bits, which must be transferred as 16 bits (two bytes) on
the function generator’s 8-bit interface.
FORMat:BORDer?
Query the byte order configuration. Returns “
NORM
” or “
SWAP
”.
