Turn "ON" the work lamps on the back of the machine.
3.4.9 Insert a New Film Roll
Before starting the procedure
WARNING: Risk of impact.
Make sure that the tractor engine is "OFF" and the key removed.
WARNING: Risk of impact.
Springs hold the stretcher units, and can move without notice. Use protective gloves.
CAUTION: Heavy load.
A film roll of 750 mm (29.5 in) width can be heavy (>30 kg (66 lbs.) install with two
persons.
Before you replace a film roll make sure that the tractor and the machine are "OFF". Make sure that the
movement of the machine has stopped. Make sure that the Power Take-Off (PTO) shaft is not engaged.
Make sure that the tractor engine is "OFF" and the key is removed and the electrical connections from the
machine with wrapper to the tractor disconnected.
Procedure
1.
Push the safeguard (5) down.
2.
Before you install a new film roll, make sure
that the stretch rollers are clean and not
damaged. Damaged or dirty stretch rollers
can cause damage to the film.
3.
Move the stretch roll away with the handle
(1) to the stop and attach it with the hook.
The stretch roller is set in the opened
position.
4.
Pull out the stop lock (2) turn the top film roll
holder (3) up.
5.
Remove the empty film roll.
6.
Insert the new film roll on to the lower roll
holder (6).
7.
Pull out the stop lock (2) and push the top roll
holder (3) into the new film roll until the stop
lock (2) engages.
