3.6 Disconnect the Machine from the Tractor
3.6.1 Park the Machine
Procedure
1.
Make sure that the ground is solid and level for the machine wheels and support foot.
2.
Make sure that the baling chamber is empty and that you close the tailgate.
3.
Remove the pressure from the hydraulic system, see the procedure that follows:
3.6.2 Remove the Pressure from the Hydraulic System
Procedure
1.
Start the tractor engine.
2.
Fully lower the pick-up with the double acting valve in the float position.
3.
On the E-Link Pro push the button
to make the knives selection.
4.
Use the double acting valve in the tractor to retract the knives.
5.
When the knives are in the non cutting position after 5 seconds the hydraulic accumulators are
empty.
6.
Activate manual net tying once to make sure that the hydraulic pressure is removed from the pivoted
roller.
7.
While the tractor engine is in operation. Set the double acting valve in the tractor to the float position
to remove pressure from all circuits.
8.
Stop the tractor engine and remove the key.
3.6.3 Disconnect the Machine
Procedure
1.
Make sure that the ground for the machine wheels and support foot is flat and firm.
2.
Make sure that the baling chamber is empty and the tailgate is closed.
3.
Depressurize the hydraulic system:
a) Start the tractor engine.
b) Lower the pick-up fully with the double acting in float position.
c) On the control box, push the button
to set the knives.
d) Use the double acting valve in the tractor to retract the knives.
e) When the knives retract wait for a further 5 seconds.
4.
Start manual net tying to make sure that the hydraulic pressure is removed from the roller.
5.
This makes sure that the hydraulic accumulators are not pressurized.
6.
Set the double acting valve in the tractor to “float”, to release the pressure in all circuits.
7.
Push the button
to set and release the pressure in the cutting device.
8.
Set the controller to "OFF" to keep all the adjustments.
9.
Turn "OFF" the tractor engine and remove the key.
