13.

If the machine has a pneumatic brake

system:

a) Drain the air container
b) Make sure that all sealing washers of the

coupling heads are clean on the tractor

and the machine

c) Connect the pneumatic hose with the red

cap to a red pneumatic socket on the

tractor

d) Connect the pneumatic hose with the

yellow cap to a yellow pneumatic socket

on the tractor

e) To set the lever (2) of the load

proportioning valve, refer to the correct

brake configuration table. (1) is the

release valve

f) Start the tractor. Do not operate the

tractor until the pneumatic brake has the

correct pressure.

If the machine has a hydraulic brake system:
a) Connect the hydraulic hose of the brake

system to the brake socket of the

machine

b) Connect the optional safety rope (2) (if

necessary by local legislation), from the

parking brake lever (1) to the tractor.

15.

If the machine does not have a brake system

and if local legislation requires, you must

install a safety chain. Install one end of the

safety chain to the tractor and the other end

to the machine.

16.

Start the tractor engine and if a brake system

is installed, make sure that the brakes operate correctly.
