Brushless Motor Hall-Effect Feedback Connections

The Hall-Effect feedback signals on an AC brushless motor are correctly phased when
the hall states correspond to the states at each of the electrical angles shown in Figure 2-
10 The hall states, which correspond to the electrical angles are indicated in Figure 2-10
A “0” for the given Hall input indicates zero voltage or logic low, where a “1” indicates
five volts or logic high. These logic levels may be viewed within the Nstat utility, on the
Diagnostic tab, as shown in Figure 2-9.
