1.4 Proper usage
The solar charge controller, hereinafter named as the
controller or device, may only be used in
stand-alone photovoltaic systems for charging and controlling the following types of battery.
MPPT 6000: Lead-acid batteries
The following also applies:

The controller must not be connected to the public electricity grid.
n
Only solar modules may be connected to the solar module connections.
n
Possible system voltages (battery voltages): 12 V, 24 V, 48 V (automatic detection) and 36 V,
60 V (manually set).
n
The controller performs the following tasks:

Maximisation of power extraction from the modules via an integrated MPP tracker
–
Controlling the charging process
–
Recording yield and system data
