2.2. Mount, operate and service the device correctly
DLT-V4108 industrial PCs were designed and built according to modern technology and
accepted safety regulations.
However, the operation of the DLT-V4108 can endanger personnel or third parties and cause
damage to the device and other material assets when, for example, the device is:
−
installed incorrectly or configured improperly.
−
operated by untrained or uninstructed personnel.
−
improperly operated and maintained.
−
not used as intended.
The owner/operator commitments with regards to safety (accident prevention regulations,
occupational safety) are to be followed.
2.3. Warranty conditions
For DLT-V4108 industrial PCs, battery packs and accessories the Advantech-DLoG
TOB regulations are valid (section Liability for defects -> limitation period for claims ).

LCD display
The LCD display of the DLT-V4108 fulfills the highest quality standards and was inspected for
pixel defects. However, due to technological reasons pixel defects can occur.
This is not a malfunction; it is a part of the technical specifications.
2.4. Required qualification
Only qualified skilled personnel may commission (e.g. electrical connection, mechanical
mounting) and maintain DLT-V4108 Industrial PCs.
Additionally, knowledge is required of lithium-ion batteries and the precautions that have to be
taken with them.
Qualified skilled personnel in terms of these safety instructions are persons who are familiar with
this and have the corresponding qualifications for their activities, such as:

Training or instructions resp. authorization, to switch on and off, to ground, and to label power
circuits and devices resp. systems according to the current standards for safety technology.
−
Training or instruction according to the current standards for safety technology in
maintenance and use of appropriate safety equipment.
−
Training in first aid.
Operators of the DLT-V4108 must be trained in the handling of the device
