Switching the DLT-V4108 on/off

Switch the DLT-V4108 on and off as follows, depending on the configuration:

−

Using the <Power> button. Press and hold the <Power> button for 2 seconds.

−

By applying the supply voltage.

−

Through the ignition signal of the vehicle.

WARNING

Electric shock due to incomplete switching off of the DLT-V4108.

Because of the battery packs, the integrated UPS may still carry current even if the DLT-V4108

itself is switched off.

If a DLT-V4108 is installed in a vehicle, the EMERGENCY-OFF switch of the vehicle has no

effect on the DLT-V4108. This also applies to the peripherals supplied by the device.

After the DLT-V4108 has been shut down and switched off, it takes 10 seconds until the device

will react to a switch-on signal (<Power> button / ignition).
