8250A Optical Power Meter Operation Manual

3.2 Menu Description

Preset wavelength

Up to four frequently used wavelengths can be set.
For more information, refer to 3.5, “Wavelength Preset.”

Parameters loaded when the power turns on

Selects parameters that are loaded when the power turns on from

"P-OFF" and "USER-0".
When "P-OFF" is selected, parameters that are backed up when

the power turns off are loaded.
When "USER-0" is selected, parameters that are saved in the

USER-0 area are loaded.
For more information, refer to 3.4, “Backing Up and Initializing

Parameters.”

Calibration mode

Sets the calibration mode to ON or OFF.
In the calibration mode, the correction calculation is canceled and

the measured current value is displayed.
In the calibration mode, the menu items are as shown in Figure 3-

Interface

Switches the remote interface between GPIB and USB.

GPIB/USB

When the remote interface is set to GPIB, sets the GPIB address,

header ON or OFF, and Addressable or Talk Only.
When the remote interface is set to USB, sets the USB.ID.
