Precautions when Using USB
1. Connect the connection cable to the USB connector (B type) on the rear panel of this instrument and
the USB connector on the personal computer.
Insert the connector completely when connecting.
2. Use the USB hub when connecting several instruments to a personal computer.
3. Up to 64 characters per transmission can be recognized as a program command.
If the program command exceeds 64 characters, an error occurs.
4. Send a command without the terminators such as CR or LF at the end of the command strings.

1. The USB setting item and its initial setting when the instrument is shipped are shown below.
2. USB.ID setting

Set USB.ID by key operations in MENU.

The header in USB is common with header in GPIB. Refer to 4.2.3.
Or set the header by using remote commands.

In reference to 4.1, “Selecting a Remote Interface”, select "USB".
