1.11 How to Store and Transport This Instrument
1.11.1
Storage
If this instrument is not used for a long time, do not store in the following environments to prevent damage,
such as mechanical and chemical, to the instrument.
•
Places where the instrument is exposed to direct sunlight or strong ultraviolet.
•
Places where corrosive gas is generated.
•
Dusty places
•
Places with vibrations
•
High temperature and high humidity places
Although this instrument must be in a temperature from -20
C to +70
C and in a humidity of 80% or less,
if stored for a long time, this instrument should be stored at room temperature and in a low humidity envi-
ronment.
1.11.2
Transportation
Use the original packing materials or equivalent materials when transporting and avoid excessive vibra-
tions and impacts.
1.12 Warm-up
The instrument must be warmed up for 5 minutes or more to reach operation performance specifications.
1.13 Calibration
The optical power meter can be calibrated by a qualified person with adequate instruments. For more infor-
mation, refer to 7, “CALIBRATION.” If no qualified person is available, contact ADC CORPORATION.
To calibrate the sensors, contact ADC CORPORATION.
Sensor calibration should be performed at an ADC CORPORATION site.
For more information on calibrating this instrument, contact ADC CORPORATION or a sales representative.
Perform calibration periodically to maintain accuracy.
