3. Remove the sensor and connect this instrument to the current generator (hereafter
called VIG) through the TRIAX-12pin conversion adapter A as shown in Figure
6-1.
4. Open the input and measure the current at ZERO in all ranges. Use the
[UP]
and
[DOWN]
keys to select a range. Ensure that the current at ZERO is within the
accuracy shown in Table 6-1. (823* series path)
5. Connect the VIG to the input, apply the current value shown in Table 6-1 from
the VIG to the instrument, and measure the current at the full scale in all ranges.
Ensure that the current at the full scale is within the accuracy shown in Table 6-
1. (823* series path)
6. By pressing the
[MENU]
key and
[
]
, CAL OFF blinks. Press the
[ENTER]
key to exit from the CAL mode.
CAUTION:
Before changing a conversion adapter, make sure this instrument exits
from the CAL mode.
7. Replace the adapter with TRIAX-12pin conversion adapter B.
8. Enter into the CAL mode by using the same operation as step 2.
9. Open the input and measure the current at ZERO in all ranges. Use the
[UP]
and
[DOWN]
keys to select a range. Ensure that the current at ZERO is within the
accuracy shown in Table 6-1. (821* series path)
10. Connect the VIG to the input, apply the current value shown in Table 6-1 from
the VIG to the instrument, and measure the current at the full scale in all ranges.
Ensure that the current at the full scale is within the accuracy shown in Table 6-
1. (821* series path)
CAUTION:
If the cases or cables are touched or moved, the measured value may
become unstable in the 20 nA and 200 nA ranges. Perform the mea-
surement after the value becomes stable.
