PC Program Setup
Step 6 - Main Command
The HTR-2400 does not feature an
automatic On and Off function that
tracks source usage. This feature
is only available on the Suite 16 and
Suite 8x8 systems. As such the IRL
On and Off buttons only work from
the HTR-2400’s front panel.
The “Main” function refers to a com-
mand released by repeatedly press-
ing the source button on the keypad
after the source has already been
selected (on the MC-6011, this is the
function released by pressing the
SEL button). For a CD player this
could be disc skip and for a SAT,
DVD or VCR it could be power on
and off.
You load the IR code for this func-
tion just as you would all other com-
mands as noted on the previous
page.
Step 7 - Macro Commands
The IRL permits you to map out a
macro command that could be as
long as sixteen steps. This is use-
ful for SAT receivers where instead
of using the numeric pad to enter in
a channel number, a single button
press might be used to recall a spe-
cific SAT music channel. Here you
can even program in a display name
(i.e. DSS JAZZ) which will appear
momentarily when say the number
1 is pressed. Alternately, you can
also use the macro command to is-
sue a Power On and Play sequence
as in our example. To do so:
1
After entering the line 1 com-
mand as discussed, on line 2
under Action T/D, select Delay.
2
Double click slowly under detail
and enter your delay in ms.
3
On line 3, select the next IR com-
mand as previously discussed.
4
Add a label in the top window.
