To store a Balance Pre-
set, which will contain
both channel (speaker)
delays and levels, turn
the Mode knob until the
arrow is on STORE 1.
Turn the Volume knob to
select one of the four Bal-
ance Preset numbers and
then press the Volume knob to store the preset.
The display will confirm the action by reading
STORED and the Balance Preset number.
Each home theater environment is unique and
typically offers more than one frequented seat-
ing position. While optimizing sound (delay and
levels) around a singular position will greatly im-
prove sound in the entire theater, the HTR-2400
makes it possible to create four “hot spots” rather
than just one. This will require that you recalibrate
both the Delay settings and Speaker Levels for
the other seating positions in your home theater.
Repeat both the Delay and Speaker Level
procedures and save the new levels un-
der another Balance Preset number.
While you can Recall a Balance Preset
from this setup page, the end user can
also Recall a Balance Preset from the
Home Theater Zone page.
