The ADA Bus Setup page allows you to set two
multi-room specific features and three global fea-
tures. Use the Mode knob to select the feature
and the Volume knob to adjust it.
The Max Room features lets you limit the
number of rooms that the user sees when
they turn the Room knob. This effectively
reduces the number of rooms. So if you
are using only five multi-room zones, you
can set the Max Room to equal 5.
The Max Input is much like the Max Room fea-
ture where you can limit the number of inputs on
the unit. Like the Max Room feature, the upper
inputs do not display and you may need to re-
name your lower sources to match the system.
IR Receiver refers the HTR-2400’s front
panel IR receiver. If you notice interfer-
ence from IR emitting sources, try turning
the IR receiver off.
Back Light Timeout refers to not just the video
display but also all of the buttons. The HTR-
2400 can go completely dark in 1 to 60 seconds
or stay on all the time whenever a zone is on.
The OSD (On Screen Display or GUI) can
be set to time out independent of the video
display. Set in one second increments,
the OSD can time out in 1 to 60 seconds
or remain on indefinitely. If you have set
the Back Light to time out sooner than the
OSD, then the display will blank earlier.
