ONNECTIONS
There are several ADA PC Programs that can be used to setup the HTR-2400. These pro-
grams mirror the functions available through the HTR-2400. Some features are only pro-
grammable via PC, in particular adjustment of the Stereo Enhance and Mono Enhance modes.
ADA suggests using the PC programs whenever possible as they make this setup easier.
Also, overall navigation is simplified in the PC program vs. the on-screen setup.
To connect to the HTR-2400, use the
provided RS-232 Mini-Jack to con-
nect to the
front panel.
Note, that the
r e a r - p a n e l
RS-232 port
is off-line
while this
connector is
inserted.

Set Jumpers
Use the
HTR-2400's
ADA Bus Jack
to either the
ISO-E or ISO-USB
Use the HTR-2400's
RS-232 Port. When the
RS-232 Mini Jack is
connected to the
HTR-2400's front panel
RS-232 jack, this RS-232
port is rendered "off-line."
When the front panel mini
is removed, this jack is
back "on-line."
Alternately, you can use the
rear-panel RS-232 port. If you
prefer, you can also connect an
ISO-E (Ethernet) or ISO-USB
(USB) to the HTR-2400’s rear
panel ADA Bus port.
