To access Tone Controls, turn the Mode knob
until HT Tone is selected and press the Mode
knob.

The Tone Setup menu is made up of three
columns; Speaker Group A, Speaker
Group B, and tone adjustments. The
Mode knob advances through each fea-
ture column by column.

Speakers can be part of one group, both groups
or neither group. While the arrow is on a speaker
turn the Volume knob to
make it active or inactive on
that group.

When the arrow is on a tone
adjustment, use the Volume
knob to alter that setting.

You may opt to include front speakers in one
group and surrounds in the other. Alternately,
you may just place the subwoofer as the only
speaker in both groups and then set one group
to 40Hz and the other to 60Hz, giving you a pow-
erful low frequency room correction control.

When you are ready to store speaker groups,
tone frequency points and tone levels into a tone
preset, turn the Mode knob until the arrow is on
the Store #. Turn the Volume knob to select the
Tone Preset number and then press the Volume
knob to store the preset. This same process is
applied to Recalling Tone Presets.
