3.7 Time-controlled suspend
The Suspend process stops the processor and deactivates the wireless card but does not power down the
internal RAM. In this way, it is possible to quickly resume the device and continue working from where you
stopped.
The Suspend mechanism is fully supported on ACD devices (with suspend notifications sent to applications).
If you want the device to automatically switch to
Suspend after a set period of time, configure the
necessary settings in the Power menu on the
Control Panel.
The settings for the battery and for external AC
power are configured separately.
The User Idle and System Idle statuses do not
prompt any changes in the system and can be kept
at 1 minute.
The time until the Suspend mode is activated is the
sum of all times: The User Idle, System Idle and
Switch State to Suspend times are all added
together.
After the setting is configured, save the changes by
clicking the Save Registry option and then reboot
the device.
