Tightening torque, step 1: 100 Nm
Secure the cross roller bearing to the frame
in two steps;
•
Tighten the 18 attachment screws
crosswise to 100 Nm.
•
Tighten the screws crosswise to 300
Nm.
Tip
Use a torque converter between the screw
and the torque wrench, to facilitate the
tightening of the screws.

Note
Use caution when attaching the screws that
secure the gearbox.
If a screw is dropped, it will probably end
up in the recess underneath the gearbox
and be very difficult to reach. Using a
magnet will probably be the only way to get
hold of the lost screw.

Fit the attachment screws that hold the
gearbox to the frame. Do not tighten yet.
Tip
This procedure is best done with two per-
sons working together:
•
Person one: working under the base,
holding the torque wrench in place,
making sure the bit is correctly fitted.
•
Person two: working beside the ro-
bot, working with the torque wrench.

Remove the guide pins and attach the re-
maining screws.
