Display Logic 

 

The optimal default is 

Enabled

. 

  WARNING 

This feature disables the video output circuitry of the GPU. Therefore it is highly recommended NOT to use 

this feature; otherwise no screen message will be visible after. If by coincidence the output is disabled the 

only way to overcome this is to erase the SBC configuration by removing the battery. CMOS RAM and 

NVRAM (Flash) will lose its content including the password when the battery is  drained.

High Precision Timer

The High Precision Event Timer (HPET) is a hardware timer developed jointly by 
Intel and Microsoft since 2005. Previously only the older timing facilities such as the 

programmable interval timer (PIT) or the real‐time clock could be used for timing 

purposes. 

The user should turn this feature on for modern operating systems like Windows 
Vista, Windows 2008, Windows 7 and Linux operating systems 2.6 kernel and above 
can take advantage of this timer.

Boot Time With HPET Timer 

 

The optimal default is

Enabling this feature allow HPET get used during early boot and programmable 
interval timer PIT will be not used in early boot.
